Fourth seed Novak Djokovic comes into the tournament full of confidence after a successful week in Eastbourne. It was against common consensus for the men, from whom it is a seen as a bad idea to play a tournament the week before a slam. Klizan may not have picked up a shock win over Nadal in the way many lower ranked players had in the past 5 years but he did win a set against the Spaniard before losing in 2014. For the third slam running, he will have played a member of the top 5 – losing in 5 to Wawrinka in Australia and in 4 to Murray at the French with the draw being unkind to him once again here.
