Two-time Grand Slam winner and former world No. 1 Amelie Mauresmo was inducted into the International Tennis Hall of Fame on Saturday. Pregnant in her third trimester, Mauresmo was unable to attend the event, yet was given a fabulous induction ceremony, as well as a touching tribute from former Wimbledon Champion Marion Bartoli. “It’s an honor to have my career celebrated alongside those who I admired all my life,” Mauresmo said. Mauresmo won her two Grand Slam titles in 2006 – the Australian Open and Wimbledon – both of which she beat Justine Henin in the finals. Her achievements made her one of 21 women to be crowned world No. 1, as she spent a total of 39 weeks between the 2004-06 seasons as the reigning queen of the tour. Apart from Mary Pierce and Marion Bartoli, Mauresmo is the only other Grand Slam winner on the women’s tour of French origin, which adds to her total accomplishments. https://youtu.be/mVYBJLgorisFor additional head to head predictions of Amelie Mauresmo Marion Bartoli, you can see detailed H2H stats for Amelie Mauresmo vs Marion Bartoli.
