It’s a hard life, being Roger Federer! One minute you’re on court winning matches in front of the world, the next you’re having to endure arduous photo shoots involving motorcycles, guitars and leather jackets just to please your sponsors.
After defeating Carlos Berlocq 6-3, 6-4 today at the Italian Open, Roger took some time off court to give one of his sponsors – Credit Suisse – a helping hand with their latest global advertising campaign. Posting an invitation for us all to see just how hard he works when he’s not cinching world titles, the Swiss tennis ace declared “Take a sneak peek at my new global campaign with Credit Suisse!” Well, peek we did although we came away feeling ever so slightly jealous.
The video, which can be seen by clicking the link at the bottom, features Federer in all sorts of manly leisure situations – riding the aforementioned motorcycle complete with leathers and a strapped on guitar, chilling in a top of the range motor vehicle and generally having a whale of a time. Although the mean and moody Federer portrayed in this campaign is an interesting contrast with the sweet family man that we all know him to really be, we’re sure that there are plenty of Federer fans out there who will enjoy this video possibly even as much as Federer himself enjoyed making it!
