It appears that Japanese No. 1 Kei Nishikori will not be healthy in time for the Japan-Czech Republic tie this weekend, as the world No. 18 has withdrawn from the quarter-final with a left groin injury.
The news was revealed on the official Davis Cup twitter account:

The injury stems from Nishikori’s fortnight in Miami, where he reached the semi-final before withdrawing from the event before his clash with world No. 2 and eventual champion Novak Djokovic. It appears the injury will require a significant period of rest and recuperation.
The Japan-Czech Republic tie is scheduled to take place between April 4-6 at the Ariake Coliseum in Tokyo, Japan.
