Australia’s Jarmila Gajdosova has officially been awarded a wildcard into the main draw of the is BMW Malaysian Open in Kuala Lumpur.
The budding talent, currently ranked at No. 302, will meet Taiwan’s Su-Wei Hsieh in the first round. It is an interesting clash, which could possibly lead to a second round match-up against top seed Dominika Cibulkova.
Gajdosova is coming off a fantastic week in Charleston, where she qualified for the Family Circle Cup, and took Elina Svitolina to a third-set tiebreak in the first round. It was an impressive performance, as Svitolina was coming off victories over Eugenie Bouchard and Sloane Stephens.
