The Australian Open has revealed the eight competitors, four males and four females, who have been offered wildcard entries into the season-opening Grand Slam event, which begins January 13 in Melbourne. The list includes budding talents Thanasi Kokkinakis, Nick Kyrgios, as well as 21-year-old James Duckworth and Sam Groth.
The eight Australians join wildcard play-off winners Jordan Thompson and Casey Dellacqua, and top Australian players Lleyton Hewitt, Bernard Tomic, Marinko Matosevic and Matt Ebden in Melbourne.

Men: Nick Kyrgios, Thanasi Kokkinakis, James Duckworth and Sam Groth.
Women: Ashleigh Barty, Jarmila Gajdosova, Storm Sanders and Olivia Rogowska.
