Rafael Nadal (Player Profile) has regained the No.1 spot in the ATP Rankings as of October 7, overtaking Novak Djokovic (Player Profile) by 40 points with a final appearance at the China Open (despite losing to him in straight sets). Third and fourth remain Andy Murray (Player Profile) and David Ferrer (Player Profile), with more than 4000 points less than the leading duo.
