John Isner shocked world no.1 Novak Djokovic to reach the semi-finals of the 2013 Cincinnati Masters. The American player prevailed in three sets 7-6 (5) 3-6 7-5 and continues to impress after winning the Atlanta title and losing in the Washington tournament final to Del Potro.
Once more, Isner will square off against Delpo for a place in the Sunday’s final. The Argentine defeated Dmitry Tursunov 6-4 3-6 6-1.
With today’s win, Isner improved his head to head record against Djokovic to 2-3.
