Former world no.1 Lleyton Hewitt bagged a superb second round win at the Queen’s Club in London as he defeated 10th seed Grigor Dimitrov in straight sets 6-4 6-3.

Next up for the 4 time champion from Australia will be American Sam Querrey, seeded 6th at this year’s tournament. Querrey booked a third round place with a 7-6 (11) 5-7 7-6 (5) win over Aljaz Bedene of Slovenia.

Also through to round 3 is the second seed Tomas Berdych, who overcame Dutch Thiemo de Bakker 6-1 6-4, setting up an encounter against Grega Zemlja of Slovenia.

Defending champion Marin Cilic advanced with a solid straight set victory over fellow Croat Ivan Dodig, beating him 6-3 6-4. Cilic won last year’s title after a bizzare disqualification of David Nalbandian in the final.
