Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer will meet in a dream final at the Rome Masters 2013.

Both players needed two sets in their Saturday’s semi-final clashes to book a place in Sunday’s showdown. Whilst Rafa defeated Czech Berdych 6-2 6-4, the Swiss maestro overcame Frenchman Benoit Paire 7-6 (5) 6-4.

This will be the first final meeting between these two tennis greats since the Roland Garros 2011 final and the Spaniard will go into tomorrow’s match with a positive 19-10 head to head record against Federer.

They have only met once this year, with Nadal winning in straight sets at the Indian Wells Masters. For Roger, this will be the first final appearance this season, whilst Rafa has already got 5 titles in his pocket.
