Djokovic beats Murray at The Boodles Challenge

Although today’s rainy weather at Stoke Park was far off from Tuesday’s sunshine, the crowd did still get to enjoy the encounter between two great friends and top tennis players, Novak Djokovic and Andy Murray. In a match that was delayed for a couple of hours due to rain, world no.1 Djokovic prevailed in straight sets 6-4  6-4. However, both players showed some great sense of humour and entertained the audience all the way until the end.

The second match between Ukraine’s Alexander Dolgopolov and Argentine Del Potro was suspended at the end of second set with some more rain coming down, after Dolgopolov managed to take the first set 6-1 and was trailing 5-2 in set two.

We’ll be hoping for a dry Friday weather for the tennis action to get back into full swing.
