Ito and Nishikori upset third seeds at Japan Open

Japanese wildcard holders Tatsuma Ito and Kei Nishikori stunned the third seed pair Christopher Kas and Alexander Peya in the first round at the Japan Open as they defeated them 4-6, 6-4, 10-4.

Kas and Peya were hoping to qualify for this year’s Barclays ATP World Tour Finals, but this loss was a huge setback for them.
