Chile's Hermes Gamonal won the final leg (Master) of Satellite Circuit; in
the final he won against Perù's Américo Venero -result 6-2 7-6 (tie break
7-2)- in 1 hour and 30 minutes of hard fight. At the end of first three
legs, played in Santiago's Sport Francés, Estadio Nacional and Casa del
Tenis, and Circuit master, played at estadio Español de Chiguayante, the
25.000$ prize money circuit winner was Argentina's Federico Browne, with 38
ATP points.
Browne lost on friday in the Master from Gamonal in one of the biggest
upset of the circuit, with the results 6-4, 4-6, 7-6 (7-2).
Second placed in the general standings of the circuit was Chile's Sergio
Cortés with 36 ATP points (34 circuit points plus 2 bonus points)
