Roko Karanusic increased his lead by getting 5 matches in his home country at Croatia F1.  Karanusic reached the finals before losing and now has 27 matches on the year, 4 more than any other player.  That would be Nicolas Almagro who picked up 3 more matches last week at Spain F2, reaching the quarterfinals.  Mariano Albert reached the semifinals there and rises to 3rd place while another Spaniard, Marcos Jimenez-Letrado moves into 4th after winning a couple of matches in qualifying.

Andre Agassi remains undefeated after taking his second consecutive title of the year in San Jose.  Agassi also took the Australian Open and is now 12-0.  Tomas Cakl of the Czech Republic, meanwhile, saw his first action of the year, qualifying and reaching the finals of Croatia F1, defeating Karanusic to win the title.  So he starts off 7-0.  Andrea Stoppini also won in his first event of the year, week 1 of the Switzerland #1 satellite.
