Paul Henri Mathieu

Postby Guest » 06/10/2004 1:33 am

Paul Henri Mathieu (FRA) will not play at Wimbledon. He is still recovering from an injury (wrist - dating back to January).
He doesn't plan to play a tournament untill August.

I hear on menstennisforums that Gaudio may not play. But that does not matter he probably would not have won even one round.

Does anyone know what about Ferrero? He looked sick in French Open. From the quallies - Juan Mónaco chooses the challenger :P

Yeah, Gaudio is out. Pless is in (with his injury rank of #104, I think).

Acasuso missed the French and I would be willing to bet he either plays the clay challengers or just skips Wimbledon.

What week of rankings is Wimbledon going by? I'm trying to figure out if Alex Bogomolov will have to play the quallies. He may need a few more people to withdraw :) .

Wimbledon

Postby shtexas » 06/15/2004 8:24 am

Rusedski is already in the draw with a wild card. Unfortunately, since qualifying has already started, I believe a lucky loser will get a spot in the draw.

They will pool the qualifiers and lucky losers together. Its only a LL for sure when the qualifers have already been assigned to the main draw.
