Some guys will add significant milage to their frequent flyer accounts...

Nadal, Lopez, Ferrero and Moya will travel New-York ->Beijing -> Rome (assuming they all nominated for the DC team)
Coria, Nalbandian and Hrbaty will fly from Beijing to Bratislava.
Davydenko and Youzhny to Split.
Johansson to Delhi.
The Germans to Liberec.
Srichaphan, OTOH, will stop in Beijing en route to Bangkok, so no major detour for him.

Actually, none of the top players in Beijing will play in Bangkok and Ho Chi Minh City on week 39, except Johansson and Srichaphan who have DC ties in Asia.

The German contingent (Kohlschreiber, Schuettler, Burgsmuller, Phau, Waske) will be in HCMC, strenghened by Kiefer and Popp... perhaps they don't excpect to be named for DC team...
Also continuing on the Far East tour are Nieminen, Muller, Kim, Tursunov, Lee, Arthurs, Wessels, Moodie, Falla... none of these I think have DC duty...

Haha, forgetful Pavel  He may have been relying on the WC.. Never any doubt that they'd give him one!

Doubles entry list should be out sometime this week, shouldn't it?

Yes, I thought sometime this week, and it's Thursday now, so definitely should be out (!)

The new system should come into effect for Bucharest and Beijing, and probably will - but I think there is perhaps a slim chance it may not? Wondering about the outcome of this press conference and suchlike.. We'll see.

Would Jay have the list??

The other WC goes to the Romanian player who had the best results in futures this year. As far as I know, his name has not yet been disclosed.

3rd WC should go to Victor Crivoi, he won 5 or 6 out of the 18 futures in Romania

Andrew - as you can see Guccione is next-in at Beijing .. Baccanello is some 30 spots out .. No Aussies at Bucharest alt list.

As always, I repet -- Uless the players end up in the top 10 or so of ALT when the lists close, they don't make plans to go there at all; so a name being in the alt list is no indication of anything ..

there is no qualifying list .. only grand slam and master series events have qualie lists .... if you wanna be in the qualie draw you've to show up at the sign in tonite and make the cut, that's all

anyways, thanks for the updates Jay & thanks for the draws Petrik77 :)
