Fee, these links are absolute rubbish and you know it. I can give you a list of futile ATP links too and you won't be able to find lists on those sites either. The tournament entries published on this site are a unique source of information for us tennis fans, and you know that. Unfortunately, there is no WTA equivalent and therefore I asked (yes, the Guest was me; I hadn't logged in).

Moreover, I really don't see what the problem is with posting a WTA list for an event that is both ATP & WTA.

8-[ Yeah very true coocoo, the links are shit and its not even funny supplying them! Come on, just one wta list of a wta/atp event surely isn’t going to harm you fiona? unless you are one of those fan who looks at the wta game with disgust :KooKoo:

Excuse me? I have NO EFFING IDEA what those links are because I didn't try any of them. I was in a bit of hurry and I was just trying to help out. Please don't ever tell me what I 'know' again since you obviously have no idea. Perhaps I should have just encouraged you to do your own damn search in Google instead (but that wouldn't have been nice now would it?)

NukeD, I never said it would 'harm' me, I simply stated my preference against it. Why are your knickers in such a twist? :KooKoo:

Thanks for not clarifying what the problem is with posting a list of female participants in a combined ATP/WTA-event.

And if you don't know what the links are for, then what is the point of even supplying them? I appreciate the gesture, but it's far from insightful, to say the least. Especially since I know you know (sorry, cannot refrain from telling you what you know) that there are very, very few sites on which entry lists can be found. So just smacking a website with many tennis related links in a post is nowhere near helpful, no matter how good the intention.[/i][/b]

Oh, stop fighting, friends, over just a misunderstanding or something ...

The only place I really know of, where some lists do often show up is the forum, http://www.wtaworld.com

Nothing regular, but if the lists come out anywhere (at the tournament site or at some player's website or something), somebody or other would always manage to pick it up and post it at that forum. That is probably your most reliable source for WTA lists.

I gave you a page that claimed to have useful links. You don't like them, or the links proved unworthy, that is your problem not mine and there was absolutely no need to accuse me of doing it purposely. You didn't need to be such an ass about it.

Just remembering there's a WTA section in this forum, so if anyone would like to post these lists in this forum, it could be there, I believe.

Ow Coria isn´t on the Ordina list. The tournament site says he will be, but last year he got a wildcard, does he get one this year too?

Aren't you cute, being the peace maker :D I'm over it, but since you were so kind I will track down my friend who's a huge WTA fan and ask him for the URL of the site he showed me a few months back. It's basically the Steve G. equivalent for women. Give me a couple of days to recover from this wicked road trip (that caused me to miss Yuba City...). 8)

 :o

Phillipousis is really lucky lately, gets into surbiton maindraw because of pull-outs. Now he gets two wc's for queens, whats next? he will be given a bye in his next tournament

The guy simply doesnt deserve them, he is a waster atm (and wc's should be going to other players who will actually gain benefits from them). Probably too concerned with his tiny teen gf? :KooKoo:

Jay, what day do you expect to have the qualifying list (for Rosmalen)?

Qualifying is to start in ten days and I can only speculate on the names.
I know for a fact that Jean-Claude Scherrer will play there. He will only not go there if he is still in Lugano or if he is injured.

I expect Yves Allegro to play too, as well as Kirill Ivanov-Smolensky. But it's pure speculation on them.

well, we kind a have something like that, 'The Entry List Section Notes'-topic. There you can find the most basic information to understand this section of the board. But it's possible that the info concerning qualie-entries for regular atp-tournaments is missing. I will add it soon.

The tournament organisation is trying to give Hewitt the last wildcard for Rosmalen, as stood in a Dutch newspaper this week.

I believe it's OK, but if you qualify to the main draw you will miss Wimby qualies, so what's the point...

Here is the rule from ATP -

"Players who have competed and lost by 6pm Sunday, June 12 in the s’Hertogenbosch or Nottingham ATP events, the Braunschweig or Cuenca Challengers or France F8, Slovenia F3, Spain F12, Romania F7, Italy F17, Serbia & Montengro F2, Finland F1, Turkey F2, Japan F6, Tunisia F3 or USA F13 may compete if otherwise eligible in the Wimbledon Qualifying. These players will not be permitted to participate in another tournament during the first week of the Wimbledon Main Draw"

So, all but the 4 qualifiers each at Rosmalen and Nottingham can go to Wimbledon and play qualies.

CooCooCachoo: As PatatRiek said, we have to wait till Friday night past 9 pm to know who will show up and sign in for the qualies.

Update:

Ferrer OUT at Nottingham; Ventura IN.
Massa from ALT is OUT at sHertogenbosch; no other change.

i think quite a few players are going to the Wimbledon qualies without playing a match on grass, that's maybe why some of them will go and play the qualies at Rosmalen or Nottingham? we'll see...

anyways, thanks for your help nitsansh & Jay

I don't expect that to happen. Rosmalen has one of the worst qualifying events on the ATP Tour ;) I don't see why that would change all of a sudden :o

No. ATP just placed a correction on the doubles entry list for sHertogenbosch. Robbie Koening and Michael Kohlmann (73+42=115 rank) should have been the eighth team there.

That means Kohlmann is taken out from the Wimbledon qualies in the same week.

I am a bit surprised, because the doubles entry for sHertogenbosch closed a week after the Qimbledon qualifying entry. I did not know that Kohlmnann was allowed to enter for doubles at sHertogenbosch. I suppose he is.

Thanks :)

Then I wonder.. Why don't Yves and Michael play together? :x They should have had no problems entering as a team, looking at the rankings?

I was wondering about that too .. They were on a 2-5 streak before French Open when the Wimbledon qualies were closing. They lost in the second round at RG too though against tough Massu-Gonzales in a close match. Perhaps they were thinking of trying other partners? .. Also, Michael Kohlmann had gone up in singles rank by 60 spots last monday (with the great run in St.Poelten as a qualifier to the QFs) and made the Wimb Q cut unexpectedly. I wonder if Yves thought he would want to play Wimb Q and entered with somebody else for sHertogenbosch before Michael decided to play sHertogenbosch doubles too? Very curious. Who knows!

Should ask him if I get the chance.. Michael does have some points to defend in Rosmalen (qualified last year and reached the second round), so maybe he expects to do better here with the rather weak qualies draw than at Wimbledon?

I'll be a nice guy a post some links to help the womens' tennis fans out.

http://www.itftennis.com/womens/ - link for women's challenger draws

http://home17.inet.tele.dk/wta/ - results for all womens' tennis, rankings, head to head, results back to 1996.

Thanks for the effort, but seriously, every real WTA fan knows these links ;)

And these links are pretty pointless in this matter, cause we were talking about WTA level entry lists and obviously, these sites don't offer them.

Thanks anyway :)
