I'm from USA but will be attending the Monte Carlo Masters Series event this year. I've never been to Monte Carlo before and was just wondering if anyone who has been to the tournament before has any recommendations on hotels to stay at or avoid, or any other insider/local information.

We went on the first Sunday. Really nice event and some good tennis.
