Shouldn't there be special exempt spot available at Santiago for the semi finalists at La Serena the previous week?

In your dreams maybe...

SE spots are available only for players who played a tournament of he same or of higher category.

Challengers don't give SE spots for ATP
Future don't give SE spots for Challengers or ATP

Life is hard... ;)

SEB: Santiago is a CHALLENGER, not an ATP event but the price money is higher: 50K for Santiago compared to La Serenas 25K, but still there should be SE spots available for the 25K challengers in week 4?! :S

well, seems like ATP heard your complains. They added SE-spots in Waikoloa and Santiago. The entrylists and alternate-lists have changed a bit, I have updated the lists. They are correct now.

oups... excuse me.
then it should definitively have 2 SE spots available no matter the prize money available, on the category counts... They can be only filled by players competiting in a previous week event ON THE SAME CONTINENT

No changes in any of the four entry lists so far, except for Ti Chen from the ALT list going out from the ALT list at Waikoloa ..

Lists are finalised !
Strange thing happened in Heilbronn, where one wild card wasn't used and that spot was taken by a lucky loser.

They wanted to give the WC to a 1st week loser of Melbourne, but they got negative replies from all players they have contacted.

Looks like the ref didn't quite notate the draw correctly. Luzzi should be the last in and Navarro-Pastor should be an ALT not LL. He replaces Vicente rather than Eschauer, BD. Kind of a bummer for Eschauer, he lost in qualifying and is first on the list to be a lucky loser but Navarro-Pastor who didn't play qualies takes the spot instead.
