Roddick withdrew from Houston with a hamstring injury.guest1 wrote:as always no us-american goes to monte carlo but every single of them played in houston(roddick, blake, fish, ginepri).
Players are allowed two withdrawals from AMS events & one withdrawal from an optional tournament per year without penalty (as long as the withdrawals are not late). Players who do not play AMS events where they are direct entrants receive zeros for the ATP rankings & race.doesn't the atp care about that? don't they have to pay a big fine for missing that tournament every single year???
