Doesn't mean anything for us. Indicates that he owes ATP some fine or something. Quite a few payers have those things. We sometimes edit it out ..

Thanks Kinetix and Jay for the answers. Is it like an attention call?

Yeah, Junqueira is first in the Alternate List, I don't think he withdrew.

Strange .. I must have made a mistake, or there was a wrong list temporarily ..

Anyway, this was the final official list ..

Buenos Aires: (Both SE spots cleared)
OUT: Devilder, Horna (Echagaray from ALT)
IN: Ouahab, Gonzalez, Junqueira, Marin
NEXT: Ghem, Silva, Behrend, Garcia, Massa, Koellerer

Then Ghem got in as the last man, when Daniel pulled out just before the draw. So you all got it right above!

On the 2nd day of the first round of the Challenger of Buenos Aires the tickets were sold out the day before!

Does anyone know if a similar situation happened in any other challenger tournament before?

But how many seats does Vilas' club has? The masters series in Buenos Aires... forget about it, there not nearly enough $$$ to make it happen, and you have to take it from someone... Montecarlo? it seems like the more logical choice to me...

Hola cipayo.

Funny to speak in English with a fellow "countryman". There are 2000 seats in the main court. But that´s not the point about finding it as a possibility to think on a Master Series in Buenos Aires.

That wasn´t me but the ATP who is considering the posibility to place a Master Series Cup in LatinAmerica. Mexico and Argentina are the main contenders. Mexico is being considered for an economic issue but Argentina aswell because most of the tickets were sold in the past series of the tournament. The tournament was a big success in the past years.

Tickets for the tournament that is going to take place in February are going to be launch to sell on December 3rd and I heard off the record that they will be sold out in the first week. They are even considering to move the tournament from Buenos Aires Lawn Tennis Club to Parque Roca (14000 seats) in a nearby future as the 5500 seats of the main court are not enough.

It seems to be that you had been away of Argentina for a while or perhaps you are not well informed...

Jajaja... la onda es que entiendan todos, aparte asi practicamos ingles :).

I didnt know that Vilas' club had that many seats, in that case the challenger is a success (i know the ATP tourney is always soldout). But i dont understand the post talking about the end of copa petrobras, not in Argentina at least...

I will make a topic in the unmoderated section about a big tournament in Latin America.

ta' lue'
