Will Federer beat Nadal again?

After seeing Federer backhand collapse in the final against Nadal, i wonder if this won't translate to other surfaces. I mean, there were a Federer-Nadal match on grass tomorrow i will go with Nadal.
I think the 40-0 game Federer had at the beginning of the 2nd set was the key to the match, on missed volley and Federer collapsed. Second set was all about Federer errors. Anyway i hope that Federer recover fast and defend Wimbledon, i dont want Nadal to overtake him for many years.


PS: If someone understood what i wrote, please correct my english (i want to learn )

Your english was pretty good, daryl.

I would still put all my money on Federer on grass. Maybe sometime in the future, Nadal could beat him, but I can't see it right now. Federer remains the better all-court player, no doubts. Federer's transition game is the best in the game, and without the benefit of a slower court and higher bounce, I can't see Nadal making the same plays.

Plus, Fed uses much more slice on grass/hard courts. Not sure why he didn't go that route today.

I wondered the same thing about Federer refusing to use his slice today. If he kept the ball low then Nadal would ahve had a tougher time getting the heavy topspin to Federer's BH.
Oh well this shaping upto be a great rivalry.

I dont know much about tennis technical part, but once Nadal started playing high on Roger backhand, it was awesome, Roger had to play some backhands from above his shoulder. Can you get a good slice from there? Can you do anything from there?
Well, the thing is that Federer will not get revenge till Nadal reachs a final on hard court (i dont think Nadal can reach Wimbledon final). But when he get the chance (say Montreal or Cincy) he has to beat Nadal or it's gonna get worse.

Well well well... Without beating any grass specialist, Nadal is in the final... tomorrow is the day my question gets answered (earlier than i tought ). Nadal pays 6 to 1 in betfair... make your bets... i wouldnt like Nadal to win.. but 6 to 1 is tempting . What do you think?

Wow... it was not easy... but he made it... Now i want to see them on hard court again! Roger has to stay healthy and win tournaments or he can lose the number 1 ranking. Nadal did nothing at 2005 Us Open and he didn't played the Masters... im afraid... i hate Nadal! sorry

Mainly because of his false modesty ("Every match is difficult, bla, bla, bla") and little less because i dont like his way of playing (too much defense, but it's changing now). Last thing is that i want Federer to mantain it's no. 1 and he's the only threat for now.
