There's only one 'n' in my name, but you calling me that brings back very fond memories of a nickname I once had. :)

Or rather: Why did he sign in at first? A pity he signed out, would be pretty cool to se him play a Challenger all of a sudden!

Harsh mankad a serve and volley player? Or the sv stands for something else?

I saw him twice at surbiton last year, and I dont think he came to the net once lol! Unless he has changed his game completely?

Harsh is not really a serve and volleyer. He does know that stuff, having grown up playing a bit of grasscourt tennis in India. He does play the netgame quite well on grass in Davis Cup matches, but he likes to counterpunch more...

He is down with a knee problem. Was expected tobe out 5 to 6 weeks, but it is now 7-8 weeks. He expects to get going with the California futures from week after next near sacramento.

I haven't seen a fact sheet for Prostejov and I can't understand the website...

Is the draw expected out tomorrow or Sunday?

Yay, maybe I will see him in Woodland. :)

Jay, he played a lot of S/V last October in Sacramento and Carson. Was that just because of his opponents in those matches that I saw him play? One was against Fleishman, and I can see where that might be a good strategy against him.

The Prostejev draw is Sunday, TBA. Qualies sign-in on Saturday at 9 pm (which is true for all of these Challengers right? because its the second week of a Slam).

Monaco and Djokovic both scheduled to play last on Saturday. No way they can finish their matches on time, so at least 2 places should be cleared.

Do the rules allow players who are still playing, or scheduled to play later on Saturday, to remain on the entry list?

Jay (or anyone else who knows the rules)

What happends if players who are on the entry list for next week's challengers have not completed their matches on Saturday ar RG at the time of the deadline?

A case in question: Monaco and Djokovic at Prostejov. Both players have not started their matches yet. Djokovic will play after the match currently in progress (early in 2nd set), while on Monaco's court there is still at least one set to play in the 2nd match, and there's another match to follow before his match.

So what the rules say in case like this? Will they be taken off the list or remain, and only scratch if they lose their matches later.

I am particularly concerned because Dudi Sela is next in on the alternate list...

Dudi should get in when the SE spots clear, pretty sure that at least one will open for him. :)
