no i totally agree with you, i only mentioned that because at the time when it happened to acasuso there was some discussion on another board that he may have tanked it knowing he'd already pulled out of the following tournament, in light of that rule. but, as i said before, i don't think this was the case for roddick, and i don't even think it was the case for acasuso either.
i would like to know if this supposed rule is known about properly or not because it doesn't really seem to be observed
