Just notice the official Drawsheet for India Sat Week 2 shows a 72 draw for the qualifying offering 9 spots in the MD.

It means there weren't enough ranked players to fill the main draw. There have been other cases of this.

Unranked players are not allowed direct entry so when there aren't enough, qualifying is expanded to make up the vacancies.

Last year unranked players were DA at Kenya Future for instance. There have been also several case, particularly in Africa and even once in a US Future were the last DA was an UNR. I have to go through my archievs to get the exact reference...

levels

Postby Pete » Tue Jul 06, 2004 7:56 am

Steve

If India satellite had level 25K+H you should write it also to calendar section for all four legs (now it differs from results section) - both sections should indicate the same level. ;)

One more note: Has leg 2 of this circuit been played on Clay courts ? - it indicates results section of Leg 2. If not, would you correct it to Hard?

Keep up good work.

What about surface of Leg 2. Calendar indicates Hard while results section Clay. Where is the true? Would you correct wrong one?
