Wimbledon Draw Up!!

Postby UNTBOWLER » Thu Jun 17, 2004 7:42 am

Federer and Hewitt in QF clash
Mardy Fish has a great draw to QF (Coria is high Seed)
Robby Ginepri good draw to 4th (Ferrero is high seed) plus Grosjean
Henman v Phillipousis 4th Round (plus Gonzalez and Arazi)
Nalbandian good road to QF (Haas in 4th)
Spadea could have a good run to the QF (Schalken, Schuttler)
Roddick pretty easy draw for most part (Dent in Rd3)
Should be a great tourney!! :HeadBang:

what is rafael nadal still doing in there? anyway, if he does play I hope to see the roddick vs. nadal matchup. ESPN are roddick whores so they'll have to show it. Nadal was one of the few people to beat federer this year.

Fish has to be careful in the second round as well with Joachim Johassen.

Predictions

Postby daryl » Thu Jun 17, 2004 12:02 pm

Predictions anyone?
4 names i think the title goes for: Federer, Roddick, Nalbandian, Henman (maybe it's Tim time).

Federer should cruise all the way to final, unless Hewitt can hang him up in QF (but doubtful).
Fish has a shot if he can get on a roll and hold serve, though he could go down in Rd. 2. I like Grosjean to make it to the SF.
Henman should get back to the semi's, Philippoussis has been so bad lately that I can't see him doing much damage this tournament. Nalbandian could go down to Ancic in Round 1.
Roddick should have an easy draw all the way to the SF. It should be a pretty tight match between him and Henman, but Tim will probably choke again.
Federer over Roddick in the final.

Only a couple of interesting first round matchups...
Kiefer vs T. Johansson

and Youzhny vs Ivanisevic. Although I noticed Youzhny retired during his match today...not sure if he will be healthy or not. I hope for one more good run for Goran. :GoodLuck:

I am assuming Blake is out but they still have him in the draw against Robredo 1st Round which could be interesting.
Soderling v. Schuettler sounds good
Ancic v. Nalbandian also has upset special written on it.

Karlovic vs Srichaphan
Tursunov vs Safin
Youzhny vs Ivanisevic
Novak vs Malisse

Reid vs Spadea
Todd Martin vs Canas

Interesting Matches:

Wang vs Roddick
