Michel Koning: My Magical Powers

Am I some sort of witch/spiritual mystic? Before I went to watch his first round match at Ireland F1 the other week, Michel Koning's record for the year was 9-7. Including the match I saw he has now gone on a run of 21-2 which includes winning Ireland F1, Great Britain F9 and Great Britain F10. I also saw him beat Mischa Zverev in straight sets at the Dublin Challenger.

He now replaces Alex Reichel as the player whose results I always look out for (though Reichel is still playing occasionally at 37). Looking at him he should be able to get in the top 150 - big guy, solid serve, decent groundstrokes. Anyone know why at 24 his highest singles ranking ever is about 360-odd?

Michel is my neighbourg and after a year of cooling-down period, he is now into the "professional"
way of approaching topsport. He won last week the Dutch Masters in Rotterdam by showing his
improved tennisplay and mental control by winning semi- quarter- and final matches in straight
sets. He will be playing qualifying for the Australian open beginning of 2009.

I sincerely hope he can keep ongoing this way forward in a straight line to the top hoping
he will be within the ATP100 somewhere 2010. Michel; GOOD LUCK and keep up the good work !

To me it is luck plus his hard work due to them he made such a great records.
