Most people I know that watch basketball, baseball or football don't play the sport. The only people I knew that watched tennis were hackers. Maybe tennis is more of a spectator sport in england. Or people just don't lose weight from playing tennis.

Tennis generally is not a spectator sport in the UK however Wimbledon is almost a national institution and brings all of them (fatties and non-sports players) out.......Unfortunately most people in the UK are overweight.

They may go to the gym, play tennis or football etc but then they consume 2,000,000 calories eating dinner and drinking beer afterwards.

Moderate/low exercise PLUS Excessive eating = fat
