Most Entertaining Player

Who is the most entertaining player to watch? This isn't the same as the best tennis player. example: ranier schuttler is a very solid player getting to 6 in the world. However his counterpunching style is just enough to get the job done.

To me the most entertaining is Fabrice Santoro.

After him is Hicham Arazi, Marat Safin, Tim Henman and Roger Federer.

Oh yeah the mad Chilean, have not seen him in quite some time, Another favorite was Rios due to his shot making ability.

I haven't seen all that much of Federer but based on what I saw in last year Wimby semifinals his tennis is the most entertaining I have seen in terms of audacity and innovation. Back in 84 Johnny Mac dismantled poor old Connors in an incredible display of tennis with all kinds of touch play that truly transcended mere sport into the realms of fun and entertainment and this semifinal reminded me of that.
Of course with McEnroe you get entertainment of the non-tennis variety too
And being Indian I have to put in a plug for Ramesh Krishnan whose touch and angles were a sheer delight- had they stuck to wood rackets in tennis (like in cricket and pro baseball where the aluminium variety is banned) Ramesh would surely have risen higher (yeah, yeah, woulda, shoulda, coulda)

Oh and a special mention to Mansour Bahrami. I've only seen him play in the seniors but he comes up with some great shots.

Too bad Goran is done. The big Croat was always fun to watch. Guga is the ultimate entertainer I think. Safin is pretty unpredictable. It depends on what you think is entertaining I guess. Guys like Santoro, Rochus, Arazi, and the recently retired Rios were great to watch because their crafty skill levels.

If you want to look out for an up and coming player who's good to watch as well, try Andrew Murray from Scotland. He's no half a belter of the ball and knows to go for the angles on the court, but is not (yet) as crafty as Santoro, Pernfors or Bathe hrami are.
His little brother, Jamie, ain't half bad either.

Arazi, nadal and berdych are interesting players to watch at the moment but nothing like Goran and Andrew Ilie used to be.
