Why does Stepan-dick get a wildcard?

Who was possibly demanding to see an idiot like Stepanek in Dubai? They could have given the WC to El Aynaoui, who they made qualify instead, or a legend like McDuffee who is in great demand.

Agree with you totally. There are no reasons why to give Stepanek a WC. He is not a guy that makes people buy tickets just to go to see him play. In that region El Aynaoui is.

As a top-10 player (until suffering a terrible injury that nearly ended his career), Radek Stepanek deserves a WC to any ATP tournament. He is one of the best players to watch, the 2nd craftiest player after Santoro.

i agree that el ayanoui is worth a wildcard at many tournaments... classic style... quick or slow he's ok... watched him at davis cup the other week...

mcduffee sounds like the best world prospect at the moment tho. i feel it is worth investing here and i myself have done so for some months. while sometimes you have to go backwards to go fowards, i still feel i can win my money back
