I saw Glenn Weiner walking around looking a little glum yesterday ... would have spoken with him but for his being on his cell at the time.

I note that he's playing mixed doubles. Did he and his partner get in on their ranking or was this a wc to sweeten his having to hang around for 3 days as the next one on the LL list?

He's playing with Miss King against Humphries and Rubin. 8)

Definately the USTA's attempt to sweeten things up after he's been hanging around for 5 days waiting for one of the injured players to withdraw.....kind of like Sweet and Sour.
