Did someone ever hear about him before ?

He qualified for Moenchengladbah CH this week defeating Abel, Jeanclaude and M.Quintero.
He played only his third tourney (2 first time were in Mönchengladbach as well).

Any one knows about is result in the German circuit ?

That shows you how good the Europeans are at this game. I know many people like that from germany and france that could be 500 or better. but they just study, play once a week, and smoke about a pack a day and are still good enough to beat some 300 ranked players on a good day.

I am afriad that the USA just does not have the level like that here.

US has a very good college system that doesn't exist in Europe.

Many top French players don't play in ATP events because they have a national circuit that allows to earn money correctly. Playing ATP means go abroad, invest money, to play difficult events against top players.

Many foreign players (like argentinians Gustavo Gomez, Maximo Gonzalez, Fuente, Tincoff, Bianchi, australians Silcock, Jones etc...) play in France only in summer, making better money as if they played on Futures circuit.

I have the idea to make a SteveG-like web site with French Circuit results.

I know, all these players have the game to be good atp players. but it is not importent to them to have a high ranking with atp.
and I dont care what you say, I not trying to be rude :), but there is much more depth in france, germany, spain, then the USA has or ever will have.
and when you look at the total population, the USA has more people.

Hahahah American tennis sucks, go Belarus!

also your Idea about a steveg site for the french tournaments is a great idea.
I have tried to find results from the FFT tournaments, but I have had no luck.
Maybe because I dont speak french ;)

Also do you play the French Circut? Just wondering,

fft tournament

If you are looking for results for FFT tournament (challengers and futures), look at :
http://www.ti.fft.fr/EvLst.asp
You 'll have men's results ("messieurs") on the left and women's on the right ("dames"). Just click on the tournament you are looking for.
Than you'll have a summary of the tournament (hmmm... in French, might not help) and then click on "Tableaux", you 'll get qualifying and final draw results for singles and doubles.
This is only for 2004.
For 2003 click on the "2003" menu and choose single ("simple") or double to get the draw
Bon Tennis !

I am looking forward to make a site about French Tourneys but not about International Trn played in France ;)
The results are basicaly not available on the Internet, a part on clubs websites if you are lucky.
I have to reconstruct them from players performance sheet's available at the FFT. To get them go to http://www.fft.fr/palmares/asp/recherch ... sement.asp
fill the family name of the player you are looking for in the "nom prénom" box and you got it...
A stupid and hard work to reconstruct draws but I managed to get all results of played tournament.
tHE national circuit page is under: http://www.fft.fr/news/cngt.html, the current rankings are under http://www.fft.fr/news/cngtM2003.pdf and http://www.fft.fr/news/cngtM.pdf

The tournaments are open to everyone but the draws are progressive: it means that if you are starting playing tennis you may have to win more than 20 games to earn a point in 1 tournament. More info here:
http://www.fft.fr/competitions/joueurs_etrangers.html
