anyone believe there is any merit to the notion that a loss in qualies lets you play the tourney really relaxed because you know that your not really supposed to be there

any other hypothesis for these results???

I think it makes sense. Anytime I call a ball out that I knew was in but it's too late to take back I just tell myself it doesn't matter if you lose the next point because you didn't deserve the one you just won. I wind up hitting the crap out of it and I win the point.
