Federer burnout?

Federer has reached the SF in Gstaad, but he has just played back to back 3 set matches to get there. I realize he doesn't get many chances to play in his home country, but he should rest a few weeks to get ready for the US hard court tournaments. I would think 2 grueling weeks in a grand slam followed by another long week on clay is not a good recipe. It could be a tough summer for Roger.

or he can skip out on the american hard court events like the americans skip out on the clay court events running up to Roland Garros.

I reckon he'll win the Swiss Open......rest for a week and miss one American Hardcourt Tourney.......after a weeks rest he'll be as fresh as a daisy.

He could be one of the best players I've ever seen.......he's a pleasure to watch.

For a top player as Federer it doesn't need to be a problem to play for 3 weeks. If your whole live is about tennis, than that's doesn't need to be a problem for a big one as Federer.
If you can play in your home country, you'll always do that, i think. Maybe he'll take a rest of a week after the Gstaad tournament, but after that he'll play again many tournaments in a row.

Federer's current 52-4 season record is the best since Lendl in '89, plus his 21 match streak on three different surfaces.
