The points are the same for each round's win as in singles. ie, win a QF in a masters series event, you get 225 points in singles. Each player gets 225 for a doubles QF win there (so technically the points can be considered not shared, I suppose) ..
The prize money for each round in the ATP prize money tables are roughly 40-50 percent of singles prize money. i.e, if reaching a singles SF pays $100K, reaching the doubles SF pays probably pays around $40K .. Now, this money is truly shared and half goes to each player. So for the same event, a doubles SF gets a player probably some $20K, about 1/5th or 1/6th of what you get for a singles win (it used to be 1/4th or slightly better earlier, but ATP has not accounted for inflation in doubles unlike in singles)
