Thanks Jay, great! But can you sort the last three as the two first (by ranking and not by last name) please!

OK, I need a little confirmation because I'm exhausted and I can't think straight.

Alex is in the MD of Binghamton BUT he wants to play Montreal Quallies because he will already be in Vancouver.

Now, did he mess himself over and he has no choice but to play Binghamton? Please let me know so that I can try to get a hold of somebody to tell Alex because he is positive about Montreal Quallies.

Jeez .. Are you saying that Alex is that clueless about this stuff? ... He surely had to have known that he could not enter Binghamton, make the initial list, and then play Montreal qualies. Absolutely, positively, 100%, no way for him to play Montreal qualies if he is in the Bing main list. This is "ATP entries 101" -- I am sure he knows. But then again, I have known tenis payers who sometimes get so caught up in their events and forget some of these simple basics too. I guess he just messed up and forgot that he had put in his name for Binghampton also.

I told him that he was in the MD list for Binghamton but he was absolutely, positively sure about Montreal Quallies because he was already going to be up in Canada. We talked about it twice. Unfortunately, he probably put in his entry for Binghamton a while ago and forgot that it was the same week. That's how there was almost a mix-up with Tarzana/Indy.

I really don't think it makes any difference, because Vancouver is at the other end of the country in thewest coast and he will need same amount of travel to go to Montreal in Canada or to Binghamton in upstate New York. He should just play Binghamton and pick up the points - he can use them.

Actually there are players who went from Europe through NY to Tarzana (west coast US) to Granby (east coast Canada) to Vancouver (west coast Canada) to Binghamton (east coast US) over these 4 weeks. I know Harsh Mankad is doing that grind. Terrible travel but what can you do?

Last week Oscar Hernández was in both clay ATP tournaments draws at the same time... They WD due to injury in Stuttgart (I had seen him in the draw on Saturday) and played Armersfoort...

Maybe it is important for Bogomolov case...

I believe that was just a simple mistake by the ATP supervisor or something. Oscar was never in the entry list for Stuttgart. He was only in the Amersfoort list. Also, he was not listed as a WD at Stuttgart. The draw was corrected and there is no mention of Oscar.

Nope, that does not give Alex any rope for escape. The dude has to fly to Binghamton or Syracuse, and get down there to play the challenger :)

Hey Jay,
In your earlier post you mentioned Binghampton as (west coast us), but this is the Binghampton in New York. Was that just a typo?

JanMike is doing that trek - Indy to Granby Challenger (Quebec) back West to the Vancouver Challenger then back to Quebec for Montreal qualies. 3 weeks crossing Canada, he'll be saying 'aboot' instead of 'about' by the time its all over!

Hope Alex can get his schedule figured out. It's hard enough for me to keep track of entry lists and whatnot for a hobby, can only imagine what its like for the guys to do it for their livelihoods.

Thanks Fiona .. Yes, that was a typo .. Bing is in NY.

Harsh Mankad started from Manchester, flew all the way through NY to Tarzana last week, has gone all the way back to Quebec for Granby this week, will travel right back to Vancouver next week, and will once again go back to east coast at Binghampton the week after!

Then he intends to rest, I suppose (I guess .. He can't make the Bronx cut, so he has to rest! :))

Arazi is going to play challenger ? :?

Was he injured this year or what happened to him ?
I´ve noticed that he played only 3 tournaments this year...

I´d like to see him back. :)

keep checking mate ... the sign in for the qualies closed at 9pm, so the european qualie draws should become available soonish (if ATP uploads them as soon as they get them)

Updates:

Pamplona: (Both SE spots cleared)
OUT: Arazi, Patience, Voltchkov (also Kralert, Herm-Zahlava, Petrazzuolo, Cerovic, Enev, Junqueira, Perez, Urban, Capkovic, El Aarej, Redondi, Cruciat, Marx, Gil, Cipolla, Zemlja, from ALT)
IN: Fogues, Genaro-Martinez, Sorensen, Ouahab, Hartman
NEXT: Ouanna, Ocera, Giorgini, Nielsen, Zovko, Bachelot

That is the last official change I know of ... San Marino seems to have held tough with NO withdrawals anywhere. That is probably the first time I am seeing something like that. Not a soul OUT from main or qualifying lists.

It saddens me greatly to see Arvind Parmar withdrawing. Could anybody tell me why he is pulling out? :?
