The tournament entries published on this site are a unique source of information for us tennis fans, and you know that. Unfortunately, there is no WTA equivalent and therefore I asked (yes, the Guest was me; I hadn't logged in).

Moreover, I really don't see what the problem is with posting a WTA list for an event that is both ATP & WTA.

Thanks for not clarifying what the problem is with posting a list of female participants in a combined ATP/WTA-event.

And if you don't know what the links are for, then what is the point of even supplying them? I appreciate the gesture, but it's far from insightful, to say the least. Especially since I know you know (sorry, cannot refrain from telling you what you know) that there are very, very few sites on which entry lists can be found. So just smacking a website with many tennis related links in a post is nowhere near helpful, no matter how good the intention.[/i][/b]

The only place I really know of, where some lists do often show up is the forum, http://www.wtaworld.com

Nothing regular, but if the lists come out anywhere (at the tournament site or at some player's website or something), somebody or other would always manage to pick it up and post it at that forum. That is probably your most reliable source for WTA lists.

Qualifying is to start in ten days and I can only speculate on the names.
I know for a fact that Jean-Claude Scherrer will play there. He will only not go there if he is still in Lugano or if he is injured.

I expect Yves Allegro to play too, as well as Kirill Ivanov-Smolensky. But it's pure speculation on them.

Here is the rule from ATP -

"Players who have competed and lost by 6pm Sunday, June 12 in the s’Hertogenbosch or Nottingham ATP events, the Braunschweig or Cuenca Challengers or France F8, Slovenia F3, Spain F12, Romania F7, Italy F17, Serbia & Montengro F2, Finland F1, Turkey F2, Japan F6, Tunisia F3 or USA F13 may compete if otherwise eligible in the Wimbledon Qualifying. These players will not be permitted to participate in another tournament during the first week of the Wimbledon Main Draw"

So, all but the 4 qualifiers each at Rosmalen and Nottingham can go to Wimbledon and play qualies.

Should ask him if I get the chance.. Michael does have some points to defend in Rosmalen (qualified last year and reached the second round), so maybe he expects to do better here with the rather weak qualies draw than at Wimbledon?
