SE for players participating to Davis Cup matches?

I wonder what happens to players who participate to the Davis Cup matches. For example, Marin Cilic would have probably competed in the Marseille ATP qualification tournament, but he is Croatia no. 4 in Davis Cup. Can he get a SE status or simply has to wait to the following week?

In Marin Cilic case he will have to wait until Week 8
