Nice to see Haehnel in the Mauritius list. I guess he's getting used to air travel. Hopefully that trip will go well and we'll see him at the Aussie Open. :D

it's a WC for the qualies ;) Bolelli will not need a WC to make that draw ;) and FYI, the day Niels lost vs Bolelli in Belgium he was very ill

are there some early updates already, Jay?

Thanks PataRiek!
In any case i hope that the manager of CH Milan give the WC to a young talent, Italian or foreign not important, sure i would prefer BOLELLI!

Attribution of Wild Cards in challengers is allways strange: German/Italian players at Romania and Hungary challengers etc...

And don't forget the Johannes Matschke case: the guy has received more than 10 challenger WCs since 2002 even if he hardly won 1 match in futures qualies, even if he is not a young talent, even if he is not one of the top 800 (!!!) of his coutry...

I want to denunciate him to the ATP Tour because it is a clear corruption case rules:

Regarding Romania, there is an agreement between Italian Federation and Romania Federation...so could be normal that Italian players receive WC, but some time could be probably that some players pay for a WC, such us in CH in Rome the organization give two WC that loose in first round, and togheter win 2 games on 24....
and they don't play against FEDERER...

Any idea of the Milan SE? Ketola was hoping to get one early this week and now he´s in Prague semifinals. Did his wish come true?

How do you find Challenger draws before there is a link to them at the ATP site? They all appear to have the form http://www.atptennis.com/posting/2004/???/mds.pdf where ??? is a different number for each tournament so is there a list somewhere that gives the correct number for each tournament?
Peter Smyth

Postby R. Jayakrishnan » Mon Nov 29, 2004 5:59 am

Aha .. The little trick to find the number is to look into SteveG's calendar page and the fact sheets there. Most of the time you will find a number with the header information there!
