ahh it was a pleasure for me to make you happy!
I only don't know what to do with WC / SE in Burnie - anybody knows?
There are 24 names in the main draw, and there should be 4 Q guys.

Today I'm meeting right people and should get some info about WC's to Wrocław. We see Olejniczak won't get one as he's already in Burnie (BTW good chance to earn points!), as about Matka and Frytka guys said they decide after their AO start and they are in 2nd round... Perhaps if they win one more, they won't be in Poland.

And it's so impossible but I STILL have chance for having a pre-date exam in history of philosophy and it would mean I would have free challenger time !!! (but after today our doctor who has exercises with us hates me

)

No SEs in Burnie, I believe. In fact the list I got had shown the initial cut at Wurtzman, with Wiltschnig and Audouy already moved into the SE spots.

OMG... i'm back from the press conference. quite drunk actually. it took three glasses until i figured out the thing i took first as grapefruit juice was vodka with some orange juice.

the wild cards in Wrocław go to Michał Przysiężny (new hall national champion... and i saw his few days ago at the restaurant at my faculty - what was he doing there i dunno), Adam Chadaj (cos he's awesome), Dawid Olejniczak and the winner of competition of young players from the region.

How come a WC for Olejniczak? Weren't we talking about a rule when somebody entered a challenger, cannot get WC to other event??????

Looks like organizators are still in trap of "I just don't know what to do with myself" (by The White Stripes :HeadBang:

). The latest new is wild cards are given to Matkowski and Fyrstenberg - I guess instead of Olejniczak and the competition winner.

I got an e-mail about it and it's confirmed by Frytka's brother.

Yeah and our challenger has a better cut than Vina del Mar (however the last dierct entry there is JMDP and I would give my whole year's scholarship to have JMDP playing in Wrocław

I am not sure, but he's training now kids of rich people... at least that's what I could figure out of some conversations during champs last summer in Wrocław (I mean what the kids shouted... and how their parents were dressed).

Yes, Baccanello last played singles at Binghamton in August. Next action was at the AO doubles where he reached R3 and picked up 150 pts and $11K out of the blue... Pity -- he had just reached the final of Vancouver just the week before Binghampton. Looks like he is still not ready for singles? ..

Jan -- Timo is listed as ALT #28 for Burnie. That doesn't mean he will be going there at all - but it is a good place for him try to go and play easy qualies at.

I don't understand how the Australian Future played the week after Burnie CH can have a cut of 424 !

Given the weakness of VBurnie draw good players playing the Australian Futures will probably enter Burnie qualies even if they would have been direct acceptances. I am talking about at least Healey, Bopanna, Stadler, Nielsen and Sugiyama.

I guess Burnie qualies won't be easy to go through as one could think.

He got injured in december in training. Went to Australia but lost twice really early (against some guys he should normally beat). Did 2 weeks of re-education in Australia but his knee is still weak. We had anyway some beers and his elbow is still pretty solid.
