Are Safin, Horna, Volandri, Andreev and Davydenko in the entry list of Olympic Games?
So willn't they play in Sopot?

Yes they are. But the Olympic Tennis Games begin the week after Polish tournament. I know it's a different surface and stuff, but I guess there's some obligatory list. It's not a challenger and that's why we have guaranteed some top players from the ATP. I'm not really much into that. I only know sponsors are still talking to Gaston Gaudio, who's also on the Olympics list. In spite of it's not a big event, great players always tend to come here, eg. last year we hosted Coria, Moya and Ferrero. At the same time women's are having their event (with Myskina, Farina Elia, Pistolesi participating). Sopot is a beautiful town by the sea, with discos, good hotels etc., maybe it also has an influence on some players.

PS. I've just read Safin probably won't play. However some people say he's only eager to pick some girls and not play serious matches.
