After withdrawing from the year-end tournaments last month to focus on his recovery and a fresh start in 2015, Juan Martin del Potro announced on Thursday that he has officially begun his ‘pre-season training.’
Del Potro, who suffered a wrist injury that required surgery and extensive recovery time, posted several pictures of himself on court via his twitter account.

The Argentine, who currently sits at No. 138 in the rankings, has not played a match since February. He managed to win the Apia international in Sydney at the start of the season, then struggled from then on and eventually opted for surgery after failed bids in Rotterdam and Dubai.
He is expected to make his comeback in time for his title defence in Sydney before attempting his first Grand Slam event in almost a year. His return to court for training adds to the proof that he should be back on the tour in a matter of months.
