ATP Finals

On Monday afternoon, the draw ceremony for the Barclays ATP World Tour Finals was held. World No. 1 Novak Djokovic headlines Group A alongside Stan Wawrinka, while Roger Federer spearheads Group B accompanied by Andy Murray.

Carrying a 27-match winning streak on indoor surfaces dating back to 2012, Novak Djokovic will look to earn his third consecutive year-end championships crown next week. He will be joined by Wawrinka, Tomas Berdych, and recent US Open champion Marin Cilic.

Six-time champion Roger Federer will look to culminate a fantastic season on the ATP World Tour – one that saw him compile a 68-11 record with 5 titles – with his seventh crown at the year-end finals. It is also an opportunity for him to usurp the No. 1 ranking from Djokovic, if he can remain undefeated en route to the title. Kei Nishikori, Andy Murray and Milos Raonic will join him in the second group.

  1. For Federer to get #1 he has to win all of his matches and the title AND Djokovic not win more than one of his. Based on the draws I can’t see Nole not making the semi finals and I don’t think he’ll be beaten. I think Federer could lose out against Nishikori and possibly Murray though.
