British No. 1 Andy Murray is coming off a disappointing campaign to defend his Wimbledon Championship, but his quarter-final loss has not impacted his motivation, as he appears to be back on the American outdoor hard court to prepare himself for the upcoming US Open Series.

Murray, who’s training base at this portion of the season is generally in Miami, posted a training video on his official Facebook page to update his fans, as well as to offer them some sound coaching:

Drills without a ball are as important as drills with a ball! #Miami #Tennis #Training #Drills

Since failing to defend the Wimbledon crown last month, Murray has dropped to No. 10 in the Emirates ATP Rankings. Although his performances have been considerably weaker than his 2012-13 season pre-back surgery, he has played consistent tennis at the Grand Slam events, reaching the quarter-final round or better of all three Major Championships this season. He is yet to win a single ATP World Tour title this season but also has no points to defend past his quarter-final showing at the US Open last year.
