Former world number 1 Victoria Azarenka revealed on Friday afternoon that her foot injury will force her to remain on the sidelines and withdraw from the Premier events in Madrid and Rome.
Azarenka had originally intended on making her comeback in March, but that quickly appeared to be a terrible idea, as she beaten by young American Lauren Davis in the opening round at Indian Wells, which prompted the decision to withdraw from the Sony Openciting her left foot the cause for her being on the sidelines. There were rumours that she intended to try again in Monterrey but decided to wait a little while longer.
Azarenka took to Vine to update her fans on her recovery:
