Australian No. 1 Lleyton Hewitt has been confirmed for the BMW Open in Munich, where he will join top German Tommy Haas in the main draw.
“I really like the tournament in Munich, it spreads a relaxing atmosphere and I always enjoyed the great support from the crowd there. I’m glad I can come back to Munich and play there again”
The former world No. 1, who had been suffering from a series of injuries over the past few years, returned to his best form in years this season, defeating longtime rival Roger Federer in the final to win the Brisbane title and boost himself back into the Top 40 in the Emirates ATP Ranking.
The BMW Open by FWU AG takes place between April 28-May 4th.
