Roger Federer and Stanislas Wawrinka have decided to relive their former doubles partnership in Indian Wells, where the Swiss duo will meet last week’s Dubai champions and No. 6 seeds Rohan Bopanna and Aisam-ul-Haq Qureshi.
The top Swiss players are familiar with each other on court, having won gold medals together at the Beijing Olympics in 2008. They will be teaming up for the first time since the 2012 Davis Cup World Group Playoffs. They have also partnered in Indian Wells before, losing to Alexandr Dolgopolov and Xavier Malisse in the 2011 final
The winner of the opening round contest could potentially face the team of Novak Djokovic and Filip Krajinovic, which would be an entertaining encounter.
