Japan’s Kei Nishikori won his 3rd ATP Tour title after beating Spaniard Feliciano Lopez in the 2013 Memphis final. Nishikori needed one hour an 7 minutes to cruise to a more than comfortable 6-2 6-3 victory.

Nishikori started the match full of confidence, breaking Lopez twice to take a 4-1 lead. Lopez never really managed to recover. After dropping the first set, the Japanese player took his serve for the third time to go 2-0 up. The Spaniard earned himself a few good chances to break back, but Nishikori was rock solid when it came to the big points. Breaking Lopez once more when 5-3 up, Nishikori raised his arms in celebration.

In the doubles competition, the Bryan Brothers won their 85th career doubles title with a 6-1 6-2 win over James Blake and Jack Sock.
