Maria Sharapova defeated Agnieszka Radwanska in a marathon match at the WTA Championships 2012 in Istanbul, prevailing in three sets 5-7 7-5 7-5 after and unbelievable 3 hours and 12 minutes.

The Russian got her second win of the group after beating Italy’s Sara Errani in yesterday’s match. But this time she had to work a lot harder against Radwanska, who looked to be in charge for most of the first and second set, just before Sharapova finding the extra touch to turn the match around.
