Novak Djokovic has won his 3rd China Open title in Beijing after defeating Jo-Wilfried Tsonga in today’s final with a 7-6 (4) 6-2 scoreline.
The Serb has got a perfect record at this tournament, he extended his win-loss stat to 14-0.
The first set saw one break of serve each – after the Frenchman struck first to take a 3-2 lead, Djokovic clawed back the break and the set had to be decided in the ‘breaker’. It was the Serb who managed to held nerve in the crucial moments and as Tsonga dropped both of his serves when serving at 4-5 in the tiebreak, Nole took a lead in the match.
Djokovic then went on to dominate set two, grabbing his fourth title of the year.
